Bat Math Project

Click here to start looking for species of bats.  Each time you choose a bat, wait for the picture to load, then scroll down to find the measurements for the body length.

Make a table to record your data.  Don't forget to label the columns:  species name, ear size, body length (3 columns).  Number the table down the side to reflect the number of bats your teacher has told you to collect data on.

Make two graphs showing the data you collected about bats using string glued to a poster board.  Measure very carefully when you cut the string -- it is easy to make mistakes when you transfer data.  The x-axis should be labeled Species of Bats, and the y-axis should be labeled Ear Length in cm for one and Body length in cm for the other.
